    Hi,

Basically I installed the theme on one of my Domains.

    1. https://askfrontend.com

and then installed the theme on a subdomain.

    2. https://portfolio.askfrontend.com

Then I tried installing another domain but i could not due to the error of exceeded allowed use of licence.

I deregistered the license from https://portfolio.askfrontend.com and deleted this installation through my cpanel as well. only the subdomain is active.

But I am still unable to activate the theme on my new domain. which is mentioned below.

    3. Https://aqneon.com

Now i understand that we can only install the theme on 2 different installs with one license.

But i want to install one of the sites as another domain.

So my license will be running on 2 domains which will be

    1. https://askfrontend.com

    2. https://aqneon.com

Please help me enable the theme on these 2 domains. Currently I'm getting the error that I've reached the maximum number of activations with my license but when I check it it only shows me 1 active Live domain that is askfrontend.com

    Hi,

    take a look: https://codex-themes.com/thegem/documentation/#license-terms

One regular license allows you to use TheGem on one localhost, one development and one final production website.  pls. login at https://codex-themes.com/thegem/license_manager/ and deregister this purchase code from the installations where you don't need it.

    Hi Gregor,

As you can see my license manager shows me only one domain activated as live. Which as per the licensing terms should allow me to register another domain on this license.

However as soon as i try to register the domain name aqneon.com the theme gives me the following error attached below. please do have a deeper look at this issue.

Please do help me with this as im unable to use the theme even though i haven't used my allowed number of activations.

The same situation I deregistered a domain to be replaced by the other one. But it did not work. Still noticed: "You have exceeded the max. number of activations, allowed by this activation key"

    Hi,
    We have a similar problem.
Even if the dashboard said that the license for the website was activated, I wasn't able to update to the last version with wordpress (Activation failed).

So I've been into your license manager and remove our main website in order to register again in wordpress.
However I am not able to register anymore, saying that this domain has been unregistered and that I can't register again the same domain.

Can you help us with that ?

    Thank you.

    Hello Oliver,

I am receiving the same error as NclsP. I deregistered my domain https://igs.org because I was having a purchase verification code issue and wanted to register it again to try and fix it. Now it says I can't register the domain again. We only have one site and one domain so the license policies regarding multiple domains shouldn't be an issue.

We got the verification code issue even though at first when looking at our code said it was activated. We certainly wouldn't want to repurchase the license when we only have on site and were just trying to troubleshoot. How can we resolve this issue?

    Thank you

Hi, I am having the same issue and did not manage to fix it. I  did an update on my GEM theme and for some reason I had a problem with the activation key which was activated before the update. I copy/paste the key again and now have this message: You have exceeded the max. number of activations, allowed by this activation key.   How can I resolve this?

Hi, but it says "To prevent fraud, once deregistered, this purchase code cannot be used for the same installation again. You can use this purchase code on any other installation except this one."  Does it mean that I'll have to purchase a new license key for my website?

thank you, I solved the problem actually. The license was activated on another website, I had to deregister it. All good now.

    Hello Oliver,

Following my previous message, we have again the problem on the production website :
    - an update is available,
    - the plugin says the license is enabled on the website (https://posistage.net)
    - when we try to update, it says to register our license.

I've not unregistered the website as I did before, can you check please ?

    Thanks !
