I'd like to make some CSS changes in the site, but any changes I make, whether in Appearance > Theme options > General > Advanced > Custom CSS, through the Customize area, or even through going to Editor and changing the original style.css sheet do not change how the site renders on the front end. It's completely bizarre.

Seems there are cash issue, can you clean your browser cash after saving? Or press ctrl + f5
