I put the language of the site in Spanish, but when I write a new post some parts of the text are automaticaly included in English and I cant change them, for example at the top of the post in the part where the author, category and the date are, before the author the word "by" appears in english and in the end of the post where the comments go it says: "LEAVE A COMMENT" in English too as well as "Logged in as (user name here). Log out ยป"
Lastly inside the textbox for the comment it says: "*Message"
I would like to change all of those texts to Spanish, is that possible? Can you please help me out with this? Thanks a lot in advance.
I did as instructed but there is one thing I can not translate and it is a button that appears that says "read more".
This button appears when I use the magnifying glass to search something and the result page appears and the "read more" button appears there. I used Poedit to change all the "read more" I found but the button does not change. Please let me know how to change that text pelase.

You can translate theme via WPML plugin or pls. follow the instructions:
1. Take file languages/thegem.pot or xx_YY.po from theme directory.
2. Open this file with Poedit software.
3. Translate necessary strings to your language.
4. In software open Catalog - Settings and set Language to Translation to xx_YY.
5. Then save this file as thegem-xx_YY. You must have two files thegem-xx_YY.po and thegem-xx_YY.mo.
6. These files you need to put to the wp-content/languages/themes of your site.
With the same operation, you can translate TheGem elements plugin.
Just put translations in wp-content/languages/plugins
