I'm working on my new site and tested for page speed. One suggested fix include moving CSS before JS and minifying. Do you know one of these plugins work effectively with The GEM to rectify: "Async JS and CSS" (suggested by WPEngine) or WPMDUDEV's "Hummingbird"? If these two do not, any suggestions?
Unfortunately this plugin is on the banded list from my hosting company wpengine. Here's their disavowed list:
Most caching plugins do not cooperate with our custom caching environment. As a result, we can’t have them running in parallel with our solution. In fact, whenever our maintenance scripts see these on the filesystem, they are automatically removed from your install:
WP Super Cache
WP File Cache
W3 Total Cache
WordFence
Is there another one you've tried that works with The Gem?
