TheGEM WooCommerce Compatibility

    Hi,

    The issues I'm having are in creating a store using theGEM theme. I'm using the WooCommerce Amazon Affiliates plugin to import products. But I've narrowed down my issues to TheGEM theme by changing themes and having the issues I have on TheGEM solved. These are the issues I'm having:

    • The thumbnails forced image to 150x150, completely distorting original image. So I deleted the thumbnails through custom CSS...
    • Product pull down options: invisible... click link to see what I mean. Product sorting pull down, such as sort by popularity, most recent etc.
    • Product pull down on an individual product page - such as size and colour, also invisible when selected options.
    • On mobile, selecting an option on an individual product page zooms it way in... Glitch?

    So I'm guessing that TheGEM is not updated to be compatible with WooCommerce... Any help is appreciated

    Thanks for your time,

    Mitch

    Try selecting the sorting options for products... I attached here a couple screenshot of the problem.

    It's also on the specific product page...

    I see this code in your page html:

    span {
      font-size: 0px;
    }

    This code hide text in combobox.

    That issue is fixed! Thanks.

    The other issue I'm having is the thumbnail.

    Is there a way to get it so it doesn't distort the original product images?

    I'll attach a screenshot...

    You need to change product thumbnails in woocommerce setting and then regenarate thumbnails.

    What do I need to change those values to so all product thumbnails do not appear distorted?

    Should hard crop be checked?

    You need to change this woocmmerce settings on your site. Better values is 160x160 with hard crop. Them you need to regenerate thumbnails.
