    Hi, is it possible to change the Top Area with my own content? For example, I would like to add a language switcher and a search bar to the top area. If not, is it possible to add the search bar to the header (instead of just the search icon)?

    HI!

    You need to edit:

    /wp-content/themes/thegem/top_area.php

    or:

    /wp-content/themes/thegem/top_area-style-2.php

    it's temapltes, just copy it to the child theme.
