    Hi,

    It is necessary to use a plugin like regenerate thumbnails ? Or does "The Gem" generate smaller picture versions for mobile or none-full-HD devices.

    And which is the best image size for the template?

    HI!

    You don't need to use this plugins if you didn't change the size in the theme fucnctions. 

    And which is the best image size for the template? - sorry?

    I mean: what is the best image size - for let's say - a header image.  4K ?  and the template will do the proper resizing for mobile ?

    no, we use 1920 px width in our theme for full width areas.
