I purchased a license for Visual Composer but I don't see the license activation option. The VC site says that it must be hidden by the theme. What can I do to activate the license I purchased from VC?

Hi, I did this and now I cannot get Visual Composer to work at all. I get a debug error. I removed it, reinstalled it, activated, deactivated, etc, but keep getting an error or the page locks up completely when i try to edit it using VC.

pls. Follow the instructions:
1. Activate any other free theme.
2. Deactivate gem elements plugin.
3. Activate visual composer plugin with your license key,
4. Activate gem theme and gem elements plugin.
