I'm having problems with changing the colors to anything on the website (ex.header menu,footer etc.) , so most of the colors options from TheGem theme options don't work.
And also, maybe this is a stupid question,but I am a beginner, at Appearance->Customize I don't have anything, is that normal or does TheGem theme options replace that?

What exactly does not work for you. I changed the color of the links in the menu and the settings applied to the problems.

No, it should not be so. But we advise you to better edit the pages through the Visual Composer.
