I have tried everything I know to update this plugin also put a PRIVATE TICKET #1311224 have not got any tech support Just Purchased this yesterday just looking for good support please. lots of cool features and looks well put together just hope the service is as good as the rest.
This happens every time there's an update to layer slider. When I asked about it last time, in May 2017, I got the reply "Pls. wait some time soon we'll upload a new version to our repository."
So the other alternative is to buy the plugin ??? or just wait to see if your company updates the system that has been defunct since MAY of 2017.... WOW that would have been a good thing to put on Envato that the site had a problem with the slider befor I spent $60 dollars to make this amazing looking web theme mine. if it is not possible to get the update I would like a refund.
It's not true to say the system has been defunct since May 2017. The previous update to layer slider was May 2017. That was when I asked the question and got the answer below. After a week or so the update worked so I presume the repository must have been updated. Now there is yet another version of layer slider and I'm getting the same update error as before.
I don't work for Envato. Like you I am a customer who paid my money and bought the theme. I saw your comment and as this is a public forum I thought I should share what I know. I would prefer it if it worked immediately, but not being able to update a plugin for a couple of weeks has not caused me any problems.
Ah I see, I just bought this and the slider will not open or update due to the plugin needing to be updated didn't realize that you are not from Codex thank you for your input I just need to get going on the visual side of the site.

In order to update the plugin on your site, I need access to it. We can not do this without access to the admin panel of your site.
