Hi, I created a lovely Coming Soon page using one of your templates. However I had to install a plugin to take it offline while I develop the website, and there are no plugins that let me use the Coming Soon page I developed. I figure I must be missing something because you wouldn't provide the pages if I couldn't use them in this way. I have downloaded and activated the WP Maintenance Mode plugin.
Thanks for your message back. I was going to leave it because I haven't set up a subscribe facility on it, and I had no idea how to five FTP access etc, but I've decided now to give it ago anyway. So tell me if I have something wrong, but he details you need are:

I can install child theme and add wp-maintenance-mode.php template for plugin.
For this I need ftp and admin access and page id that you want to use.
We try to include this interface by default in future theme updates.
