Sorry the headline should be 'Visual Composer' not 'Basic'...
There are design elements that come with the standard VBC package (templates etc.) that are not accessible unless it is activated. As it is included in the Scalia template I want to activate to use these...
You try to use a premium VC feature, which is available only in a standalone license version of Visual Composer. We have included VC in our theme as a bundled plugin under developer license. This means, that all features and functions are available for usage, except additional template libraries, which are part of the standalone premium VC license.
Understood, but your marketing suggests that the VC included is the same value (at least you quote the same price/cost saved) as the one that you buy separately, however, without such 'premium features' I would suggest that it is nowhere near the same value as the direct license version. You may wish to look at the way you sell this inclusion as I had understood form your promo materials that I would avoid having to splash out for that separately.
Please can you explain how to activate the license for VB Composer. I keep getting 'not allowed access to this site' when I click on activation link.
Hi, sorry, not quite sure what do you mean. Can you pls provide more details with screenshots?

Does that help?
Please share ftp access. I will make some changes in scalia elements plugin to show license tab in vc settings.
Please check now.
Thanks Max - it's connecting now. But it is telling me there is no license to use. I had understood this was included in the theme template?

I think this support thread can be considered closed, thanks.
