Today SiteGround updated my website to wordpress version 4.9. I also updated the various plugins that came with the TheGem theme. Unfortunately, WPBakery Page Builder is missing a lot of its functions. Nothing else changed, so it has to do with the update. Can you provide me with any details on when the problems will be solved?
I added two attachments:
- Problem 1: When I click on the + to add an image, or when I first delete the old image by clicking on the x and then on the +, nothing happens. The url in the left bottom corner of my browser shows me that it is a dead link since the update, because only # is added at the end.
- Problem 2: When I go to the Worpress dashboard, then page overview and select a page. Normally WPBakery Page Builder would offer the possibility to switch between frontend editor, backend editor, and normal editor. These buttons have disappeared and the visual layout has lost functionality as well.
My website is on a localhost, because I didn't want it online during building it (because of the search engines indexing it).
I installed TheGem and Wordpress on my localhost (made with XAMPP) and WPBakery seems to be working fine. If WPBakery doesn't work once I transfer the website to the live domain, I will let you know.

So for now, everything is ok. Thanks
