Hi, I guess this issue is related to WooCommerce, not to your theme, but maybe you can help me to fix it:
Since the update to WC 3.3.x the main product image is not resized to fit in the frame anymore, instead it is cropped (very ugly). I tried the "storefront" theme, and it is the same issue with the "official" WP theme... So I think this is a WC problem...
If you have any idea, how to fix this, please let me know.
Woocommerce changed images thumbnails interface from version 3.3.x. Now you can use only 2 image sizes:
1. For product page (you can control width only).
2. For shop/catalog page, widgets, cart, etc (you can control width and crop).
You can find controls in wordpress customizer.
We tried to restore old woocommerce interface in Theme options. It is activated by default. If you want to use current woocommerce interface deactivate our interface in Theme options.
Thank you for the great support, I will keep it in mind in case I will install WC 3.3.x again one day. For now I had to go back to TheGem 3.0.6 and WooCommerce 3.2.6 to have a stable running website at all.
