I find your WPML documentation (which I read) quite different from the version I just bought. I would like to put a dropdown list of languages at the top right as on http://codex-themes.com/thegem/home/business-04/
I'm attaching the screenshot of the WPML and theGem settings. Thank you for letting me know the best way to get what I want
1/ You have just changed the choice "main menu"? I thought I did it. Strange!
Thank you for answering my other questions
2 / Why is the ACCUEIL menu (fr) capitalized?
3 / translation menus
I have the impression that there is a problem on the synchronization of the menu in English because there is not yet the content. Do we have to duplicate the content before synchronizing the menus?
4 / On the "accueil"/ french page, I clicked on your duplication button to get a home page that I renamed "Home". How is it that it does not find in the site in English
Thank you for helping me on this first experience with the menus. I read the documentation but I did not find the method very clear
You should mark the reply that has your temporary credentials as private. However, I was able to log in to your site, and it looks like you have begun to add a menu translation manually, and it might be more helpful to you to add them automatically through WPML. You will need to add WPML String Translation plugin to do this (you will need it for many things during the translation of the site). Once you sync the menus, you can use String Translator to make the changes to English in the menu.
Go to Apparence --> Installer les plugins
At the top of the page, it is prompting you to install the String Translation and Translation Management addons :
Afin de traduire Visual Composer facilement, vous devez ajouter les composants WPML suivants :
Thank you for your help and reporting that access was public !!!!! 1/ I do not see the possibility of installing these plugins.is it paying?
2/ how to change the presentation of the menu to make like the model of the designer. The idea is to graphically distinguish the language change Put only the country code: fr, en, ... in bold, circled
I believe it is free for both additional plugins, since you already have WPML, but I'm not sure.
To download, you can either click Installer next to each plugin in my original message, or from the top of your Downloads or Plugins pages. The message that I copied was in an alert box at the top of the Plugin page on your site.
You can put a "language switcher" on your page by using the "Language Switcher" settings on WPML-> Languages. I attached an image.
I'm not sure about the styling, as I am using a completely different theme, but I would be happy to help, if I can.
I don't know how to make my reply private (I don't think I can), so I can't give you my email address, but feel free to send me yours in a private message, or credentials, if you'd like.
Thank you I will ask WPML support too. As the picture shows, we want to have a display that does not exist by default Put only the country code: fr, en, ... in bold, circled

2. Sorry, not quite sure what do you mean. Can you pls provide more details with screenshots?
3. I can't give you info about it because I am not wpml developer. Please read wpml documentation. I suppose you need duplicate content.
4. Pls provide more details with screenshots.

This video outlines the process, which can be quite confusing: (Automatic Translation is at 2:22 in the video timeline)
I hope this helps!

Hello Ashley
Thank you I will ask WPML support too.
As the picture shows, we want to have a display that does not exist by default
Put only the country code: fr, en, ... in bold, circled

Hi Hervé,
WPML will probably be the best to ask about the custom options. :)
Best of luck,
Ashley
