I was wondering if I can set an external link to Google Maps on that map. So if a user clicks on the map in the frontend he shall be forwarded to Google Maps. https://goo.gl/maps/6fLFQhnYwuK2
For now i built a workaround with an integrated button.

As I understand you want to have some icon on map which opens new browser page with map?
yes and no.
When clicking somewhere on the map. The whole map as a link so to say.
An icon (or button as I did) is only a fallback for me.
Theme doesn't have this interface by default.
I suppose you need to make some overlay on map with link in content.
