I purchased The Gem, got my website looking great. Sent it to my client and just realized it renders MUCH different in Safari than in Chrome (chrome being the browser I did all my qa testing). All text styling is different. Safari displays a grey background in the entire page. Is there a quick fix to get Safari to display the same as Chrome? Safari v11.1 Chrome v66.0.3xx

Hi Gregor, See attachments. Left is correct (Chrome). Right side is not correct. (Safari).

Adding, I just checked in chrome incognito mode. It's not rendering the same as when I'm viewing the page in regular chrome.

ok I just deleted my browser cache from the last 7 days. I started on this project on May 13 (4 days ago).

    There's no change.

in the Theme Options, I'm using Montserrat as the main font. When I view it in icognito mode, it displays as helvetica.

Also, seeing all my styling for Size, Bold, Light, etc. is missing.

Then it's the back ground color grey that appears when it should be white.

Maybe a style sheet is missing?

  • Neil Snow replied

Hello. Here's more supporting details. I have selected my Main background color as #ffffff (white). See attached. It shows as grey in incognito mode. YET still renders what I've selected for colors and styles in theme options for me in Chrome.

Any resolution would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Neil

I resolved this by making a backup copy of the entire project and install on a new wp environment. Thanks.
