We have development, test and production environments for our site (based on Bedrock from roots.io) and we typically do all of our development and customization in the development installation prior to going through test and production environments. We use an Ansible scripts (Roots.io/Bedrock) to promote changes to Production after going through automated test scripts.
1. What is the best way to use your theme in such a setup? We have not had an issue with other themes as the plugins come bundled in the package - but you are forcing us to go through an extra step of activation and plugin installation - which is disrupting our development flow.
2. How can we activate the plugin in development environment and still use it in Production? This is for a single site.
Okay - let me ask the question in a different way. How can I use the same license in development and production sites? We use a development site to test out all theme changes, plugin updates and content updates and then move all the changes to a production site. So, we ideally need to be able to use the same theme with a single license in both dev and prod sites. Is that possible and if yes, what is the best way to use the license key?
You can use it without any problem. License will be automatically blocked if you will use it on 4 different domains. But we can unblock it on your request if it will be used only with one live site.

Hi,
We have never worked with these scripts and can't give any info about this.
