    The size of the preview product image and the thumbnails underneath it is too big and looks bulky. I want to reduce these sizes in order to fit the product gallery into the viewport when the page loads up.

    Hi,

    In order to content classes you need to edit template:

    /wp-content/themes/thegem/woocommerce/content-single-product.php

    Change this image sizes you can in the theme options:
