My question is related to editing CSS. When editing CSS in the backend editor using the CSS editor as shown, are these CSS edits made somewhere in the core files, or, are they made in a child theme? The reason I am asking this is because I want to make sure that the CSS edits I am making will be sustained after updating the the theme. I appreciate your time in responding. Thank you.
