    I just bought and uploaded the Gem theme to my local environment and now my site won't work. Originally I could not leave the home page and kept getting a http 500 error and now I cannot even log into the dashboard ad keep getting the same error at login. I was running other themes prior to buying yours with no issues.

    Help please

    I am running MAMP and the error is when I view it on my browser. I can not login to the site anymore. I have no access to dashboard or anything,  just get the 500 error

    I can't say you anything only by 500 error, I need to know reason of this error. It's should be written in the error logs or you can try to enable error reporting in the wp-config file.

    Go to the file:

    /wp-config.php

    Find there:

    define('WP_DEBUG', false);
    

    and set there:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);

    And check your site.

    Listen, I do not have a test domain, the attachment that I sent you is the now the only error I get when I try to install the theme. I have removed and re-downloaded and reinstalled the theme and I keep getting the same error. I will attach it again.

    Sorry, can't say you anything without the access. in more than 20k tickets I see such issue in the first time... Seems like the problem in your server settings, what's your php version?

    I just bought a test domain and uploaded the theme to it and it is working. You could have just said it does not work with localhost. 

    I appreciate your time but you were not very helpful, you just made me spend more money.

    It's working in 99% of the customers without the problems. I can't say you the reason without the access, seems like some specific server settings...
