When creating a new page, the blog page template is missing from the "Page Attributes" > "Template" drop-down menu. To my understanding this came with The Gem. Please advise. Thanks.
Thanks Gregor, but I am not looking to make a custom. I just want the default that comes for posts. It's MIA.
The image I included on the original ticket shows there is no default post page.
Conversely if you see what is displayed on a different WP site in the image attached here.
I hope that clarifies. I just want posts to populate like they should in a default setting. Adding a "Latest Post" Element or something like that is not going to cut it, especially if I want people to be able to search all.
Sorry if I am not phrasing correctly. I went through The Gem documentation for a screenshot of what I seem to be missing and need to use...the page template for "Blog Page" to populate all posts and filter according to a sidebar, for example should I like to use that option. Please see the attachment.
UPDATE: I have gone through and added the element "News + Post" to function as such page, since sidebars are usually involved. I have not had a blog page use elements before to populate it, and still am questioning if I am missing something.
Please let me know one way or another when you get the opportunity.

Hi,
You don't need to use any custom templates there, use only default template for all the pages and the posts.

Hi,
Sorry, still can't understand, you need to make default layout for the posts? If yes, you can set it in the theme options. Or you can use this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/
To clone the posts.
