I run you theme TheGem on several sites within a Multisite Installation. Every time an update comes I run into the same issue: I cannot update TheGem from my multisite network admin, because I don't know how to make it accept the license key. Therefore I update it manually via FTP, which basically is no problem.
But the PlugIns TheGem Theme Import and TheGem Theme Elements do not update with the FTP transfer.
Which is the best and easiest way I update TheGem and its PlugIns in a multisite installation?
Yes, we know about this problem. When you need to update TheGem elements plugin you can deactivate/remove it and then install with theme plugin installer.
well, in my multisite installation I use The Gem on two sites, but not on the network admin site. Therefore, I run into licensing issues when I try to update the theme or its elements. It basically tells me to buy a new license to update - which does not make sense to me.
