I have a license for TheGem and I recently activated it on a fourth site without any issue. I later went back to the three previous sites and noticed I can't update the theme anymore because it needs to be activated. When trying to activate it, it says I have exceeded the maximum number of activations (apparently 3, had no idea. is it written anywhere?) and need another license. Then I went back to the fourth site and the same thing happens there. Basically, the theme no longer works on ANY of the four sites because I have exceeded the maximum number of activations. Doesn't really make sense to me, I don't get why it doesn't just work on the first three, or the latest three sites where I activated it. I exceeded that number and it stopped working (getting updates) on every site...
Anyway, I would like to get the theme (updates & etc.) working again on the first three sites and leave the fourth one without updates and all that. The first three I want the theme working correctly on are:
Hi, you have violated the license agreement and installed TheGem on many websites with the same license. That’s why your activation has been blocked. Please purchase additional licenses and provide us the additional purchased license codes so we can re-activate your license. Otherwise we will be forced to undertake legal steps. Thank you
Wow, that is such abusive garbage. Not the fact that a license is valid only for one website, you make the rules, whatever, but that you allow people to activate a license on multiple websites and then block that license completely. You could only allow it to be activated on one website and if someone tries to activate it on another, it could inform them that the license has already been used and that's it. Because if you successfully activate a license on multiple websites and it works, of course you assume that's ok and nothing's wrong, of course you assume it would inform you if something was wrong. You allow people to install it on several websites, let them spend many hours building those websites, and then block their license and inform them that they need to pay up or they will face legal consequences, in the hope that they will pay because they already spent so much time working on those websites and won't want to start from scratch with another theme. You could inform people about it the moment they try to use it more than once, but you don't really want to, do you?
So what are my options if I don't want to buy additional licenses? Stop using the theme and rebuild those websites? Can I at least keep the license active for the initial site I used it on? Or am I completely forbidden from using it at all now?
I've unblocked you license, so you can activate only 1 live site. it's not our rules, it's Envato rules also you set check box during the purchasing that you've read and accept license agreement. Also there huge count of the links to the license agreement on the theme forest.

Definitely my fault for not reading exactly what a regular license meant, I'm not contesting that, I was angry because I was able to successfully activate the license on multiple sites without any kind of warning. Sorry about getting all riled up, I understand now that it has nothing to do with you guys and thank you for unblocking my license, I'll use it for only one of the websites.
To be clear, I'm supposed to either buy 2 extra licenses for my other 2 websites, or stop using TheGem and rebuild them with another theme, is that right? Leaving them as is and not getting any support or updates for them is against the terms, did I understand correctly?

Understood, but if I don't want to buy 2 additional licenses for the other websites, I need to stop using TheGem on them and rebuild them with another theme, is that right? Leaving them with TheGem installed but not activated (not getting any support or updates) is against the terms, did I understand correctly?
ignore last message, you can't use gem theme without the activation code, in any case we see all the sites activated with your licence. pls. note after you try to update theme on another sites, your purchase code will be blocked again. You need to purchase 2 additional licenses or remove gem theme from the site.
