    Hello,

I'm using The Gem Theme in my website since 2017.

Last week I have updated the theme, and redesigned and added new pages, It worked everything ok. Last 2 days the site started been unstable throwing the following error on almost every page.

    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at [email protected] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Apache Server at www.nexosaluddental.com Port 80

Also the error log file of wp is showing this error

[31-Mar-2019 16:46:09 UTC] PHP Warning:  Error while sending QUERY packet. PID=371239 in /home2/nexosalu/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 2007

It seems there is a problem with the db connection.

My site is hosted in bluehost.com

I don´t have a clue of whats going on, and what is the problem.

I have tried changing the theme to a basic one that comes for defect (twenty fifteen) and everything works ok again. The issue is directly related with the theme for sure.

    Any help is welcome.

My site is completely unstable now rising the internal server error.

    Many thanks
