Hi Gregor...my host provider is telling me in order to create a login widget for online banking, he needs to use the child theme. I have not built the website off a child theme...in fact we threw it away a few weeks/month ago. If he changes my site over to a child theme, will I lose all my theme options like menu header, colors, fonts, etc. Will I have to redo everything I have set in the theme options (see screen shot)? Do you think he is correct? Can you help?

Hi Gregor...you had me remove the child theme a few weeks back...my host/provider needs to add some css for a login button to online banking.
he is telling me I need the child theme...because if he adds this code...and the site has an update I will need to add the code again.
Does this sound correct? Should I be building off a child theme?

install, activate child theme from the attach, after you install it, click save in the theme options, nothing will be lost.
