i want to promote my website via social media. So when i copy my url and paste it on Link-In or Facebook. It does not show a preview of the website. On a second note is het possible to put a share button on the main page so you can share the website on social media?

For this purpose you need to go to the page link and then edit that, add featured image to it , or if you have yoast SEO installed you will set og:image placeholder and then your preview will be fetched.
