As mentioned on the page https://wordpress.org/support/topic/option-is-not-showing-in-menus/page/4/ if I disable TheGem theme then I get additional options in the wordpress Menu editing page /wp-admin/nav-menus.php for configuring visibility, however when TheGem theme is enabled those options aren't visible. The page suggests it's an old method of doing things in Wordpress that your theme might use.
it's because of our custom mega menu walker, the simplest way will be activate any default theme make all the menu settings and then activate gem theme, nothing will be lost.
