    Dear all,

    I am not a web developer and bought your theme for our company´s website.

    I have 2 installations of TheGem theme: 

    https://transcontrol.net/ : the live, published one.

    https://teste.transcontrol.net.br/ for testing and staging with approved changes pushed to above live one. This is unpublished.

    My question is about activating the 2, can I simply activate it all without worrying? Will the difference in domain be of any problem? If so, what should i do to have updates on staging installation, while having my live one activated?

    Hi,

    One regular license allows you to use TheGem on one localhost, one development and one final production website.

    Development environment naming rules 

    An installation will be considered as a development installation in this cases:

    a) Domain name is an IP (except IPs, belonging to localhosts, see above)

    b) If one of the following subdomains is used: dev.*, staging.*, test.*

    c) If one of the following subfolders is used: /development/, /dev/, /staging/, /test/

    In all other cases an installation will be considered as a final production website (live website).

    Thank you for the prompt response.

    Now im creating a new test.transcontrol.net subdomain, and cloning my old staging installation.

    Thus, we wil have transcontrol.net as live, and test.transcontrol.net as staging. 

    This way I should have no problems activating both, right?
