Hello. The templates do not seem to be working. When I create a post and either import a template or select a template from 'saved templates' the only thing that is created is the heading and whether or not I can have a sidebar. I want to be able to import everything and then modify what's there, otherwise what's the point? I have to figure out how to recreate the same look myself. Also, if I try to 'add' a template from within a blank post there is no plain blog selection available to import an outline. If I go to the saved templates tab there is nothing there, even though I have saved templates. Is there a way to import the whole outline of a blog template or copy a previously created post so I can do this?
Can you please share more details what are you doing and what are you expecting (maybe with some screenshots)? Also, kindly provide the admin access to your installation via the private message so we can check your current configuration. Thank you

So I have imported templates from the Gem templates builder (add new -->select template type --> import pre-built template). The template comes in as a full blog post:
But when I use that template by selecting it in page options --> post layout --> custom settings --> layout source --> template builder, nothing is brought in. It is an empty slate except for the header. See attached screenshot. I want the page prebuilt as it is in the template so that I can modify and delete the parts I don't want. How can I do that?
the templates are based on the dynamic content form your blog post - like post content, post excerpt, post comments etc. In case your post don't have any content to be used to populating the template, the template applied to the post will not look the same as you see it in preview. To be able to say bit more about your situation I would need to login to your WordPress to check your blog posts - would you be so kind to share your wp-admin access details so I can take a look and explain in more details? Just use the private message to share your credentials, thank you.

Hi Holly, this sounds quite strange as all templates are available in TheGem templates builder and can be imported there, check here https://codex-themes.com/thegem/documentation/single-post-builder/

In other words, I want the content pulled in as part of the template so I know how to format things.
