Please advise me on how to remove this section.
I've noticed some rectangles surrounding the navigation menu on my website. Is there a way to delete these rectangles?

1. Each portfolio item in grid can be edited here https://prnt.sc/qxLHrkg2t_Ob While editing, scroll down to page options. Here you will see this settings https://prnt.sc/ANCb9rgwawD_ - in this way you can add multiple different click actions for the image displayed in grid. Kindly check the documentation https://codex-themes.com/thegem/documentation/thegem-portfolio/#introduction
2. To setup a homepage, go to Settings - Reading in your WordPress admin menu https://prnt.sc/8HqlqLT3eXGt and here https://prnt.sc/JgleVA5NWzcG you can set the page to be displayed as your homepage
