I am getting an error saying that my WP Bakery license isn't found or is invalid (see screenshot).
I went to WP Bakery to buy a license, but I am not able to activate the purchased license - normally when I go from a Wordpress Dashboard to WP Bakery where I've purchased a license a green button pops up letting me activate it.
I've been in touch with WP Bakery support, and after trying the first suggestion they had to fix it which didn't work, then they said it is an issue with the theme, this is what they said:
"The issue in this case is because the product license tab at your end is disabled by the theme developer using vc_set_as_theme. You can get in touch with the theme developer and get rid fo the above code from the theme to get it back."
You don't need to activate any plugins included in the theme.
All of the plugins included and required / recommended in our themes are being regularly updated via our own plugin repository. Please note: for ensuring the highest quality of working as well as full compatibility we are releasing an updates of the plugins only after checking it on possible compatibility issues with our theme

Hi, I am getting the same error and there is no way for the past week to update WPBakery. I purchased a new support license for WPBakery but I am thinking I didn't need to do that as apparently WPBakery is built into the theme. Please help.
yes, it is true: WPBakery is already included in TheGem as a bundled plugin (kindly check here https://docs.codex-themes.com/article/300-installing-plugins ), there is no need to purchase the additional separate license. All plugins updates are being released via our own repository after thoroughly testing the new version on possible compatibility issues. Kindly wait until coming Monday, we will release the latest WPBakery version 6.13.0. And for now simply ignore this message about the license.
