Hi Nadine, this is really strange. As said, all bundled plugins are being updated via our own plugin repository in the way as shown in video tutorial. I am glad that you have resolved this.

I CANT activate the LayerSlider for update
Hi, you don't need to activate as LayerSlider is included as bundled plugin in TheGem. Kindly update this plugin as described here https://docs.codex-themes.com/article/308-updating-plugins .

That did not work. I downloaded the plugin and then updated via plugins. Otherwise it was not possible
