WordPress and some of the more recent plugins are starting to require/recommend PHP versions above 7.2 - for example, Contact Form 7 can no longer be updated if the PHP version is below 7.4; also PHP no longer does security updates for version 7.2+ ...
We tried updating to PHP 7.4 but the site became inaccessible - "internal server error"; has this to do with The GEM theme not yet supporting v7.4 or is there some other reason perhaps?

Thanks for your time.
Hi,
Can you provide wp-admin, FTP access and set PHP version 8.2 or 8.1?

Hi,
So the theme is compatible with PHP 8.1/8.2? If so, we'll give that a try first. Thanks.
