I have purchased a font (Uniform Bold) to use as a header font on my website.

Following the - how to upload a font video on the Elementor YouTube channel I have added the font via the Elementor/ Custom Fonts Pane and uploaded WOFF & WOFF2 Files. The font is now listed when I edit a page and view the Typography section.

To me the font does not look right and has subtle differences. Can anyone help to explain if I have done something incorrectly?

I purchased the Font from MyFonts - and the advice was to upload the font folder via FTP. I have done this however to me this is not being viewed currently.

I am of the assumption that because it is WordPress this gets ignored and by uploading via the WP Console this is taken care of?

Any help would be appreciated. Please see the attached screen grabs.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    1. the typography in TheGem theme is being controlled via Theme Options, kindly check: https://docs.codex-themes.com/article/338-typography . Here you need to set the respective global settings for all your headings, body etc. - in this case you will not need to use custom typography settings in Elementor (as you have shown in your screenshots). You can then simply use "Heading", "Animated Heading" and "Text Editor" widgets with the standard default font settings and the font (and the font size) will be applied automatically

    2. To get your purchased font to be selectable in the list of the available fonts in Theme Options you need to upload it in TheGem via the "Self-Hosted Fonts" option here https://prnt.sc/63EYmEnICz6-

Please let me know if you would need further assistance with it.

Please note if you comment on your ticket before we reply, your ticket will be pushed down of the tickets list.

    Regards, Oliver
