I should be able to figure this out, but I can't seem to do so. How do you change the color of the white box in the page header (title?)? I have been able to do this for the home page but not for any other page that has the common template.
Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I am still not making progress. Whether I go to the individual page or the global template, this is what I see:
I don't see the box graphic to edit. I have also tried the documentation link that you sent, but it is not working. Any other advice?
3. Here I have used dynamic tags to get the content from the page/post title and excerpt dynamically:
4. Also I have replaced the static background image with the dynamic tag:
5. After that I have saved this title area template and applied it globally via Theme Options:
6. Finally, I have checked the page settings of this page: https://doabdev.com/services . I have seen, that in page options there are page specific settings for page title area, which override the global theme options settings, so I have reset it to defaults:
Thanks very much, Oliver! I think this is very close! As you can tell, I am new at this. I don't think I could recreate what you have done but appreciate your help. Still a couple of issues:
1. The box on the "Services" page seems disconnected from the title text. So, when I zoom in and out, these grow and shrink separately and not in proportion to each other as happens correctly on the home page. Can this be fixed?
2. I can't figure out how to move the orange navigation arrow back down to the bottom of the image.
3. I can't figure out how to remove the bottom right-hand border. I have tried doing this with the spacer, the column, and the section, but it won't disappear as was the case before.
4. Once these are fixed, how can I use this template (with other images, of course) as the header for other pages?
I am sorry this is taking so long. I really just wanted to change the color of the original white box. I didn't realize this was otherwise going to be so difficult.
"I really just wanted to change the color of the original white box. I didn't realize this was otherwise going to be so difficult." - Sorry, I just thought you would like to have exactly the same look as on your homepage, so for it was logical just to copy-paste the existing design of the homepage to the title area template to apply it on all other pages. If you wish, we can revert to the initial state and I provide you with the info how to change colors only. Please let me know.
Otherwise few questions:
1. "The box on the "Services" page seems disconnected from the title text" - not exactly what do you mean? Can you please provide few screenshots showing how do you mean this?
Thank you, Oliver. I appreciate your help. I think this set of issues is resolved! I had sent another message the same day I had sent this one but haven't heard back on it. Should I resend?
FYI, I am devastated that it looks as though I have lost most of the backend Wordpress dashboard! Do you have any ideas about this? I can't access most menu items or make any changes. I have sent a separate ticket but thought you might have some ideas since you have been working with me on the site. Please advise!!!
Wow. This is a relief! But I still can't access the content, even with the link you provided. It is coming up the same way, without most of the dashboard.

Hi, on this page https://doabdev.com/services you are using title area template:
https://doabdev.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=13&action=edit
You need to edit this template.
Kindly check documentation: https://docs.codex-themes.com/article/206-general
If you wish to apply this template globally to all pages and posts, you need to set this template in theme options here:
and set the title are settings in individual page options to "Default Settings" (learn more: https://docs.codex-themes.com/article/208-activating-title-area-template )
Please note if you comment on your ticket before we reply, your ticket will be pushed down of the tickets list.

Hi,
I made an example for you:
1. I have copy-pasted the title section from your homepage
2. I have then created the new title area template and inserted this section there: https://doabdev.com/wp-admin/
Please check this page now: https://doabdev.com/services

I am just seeing now, too, that the box now disappears from the phone version of all pages, including the home page and services page...
Hi Cory,

3. https://doabdev.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=2583&action=elementor - this column has an activated shadow effect here, I have disabled it:
https://prnt.sc/lmOQpHMHmdgF
4. You just need to:
a) set this template as a global title area template in Theme Options here (I have already done this):
https://doabdev.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=thegem-theme-options#/title-area
b) Recheck that the title area in page options of your pages/post is set to "Default Settings" here:
https://doabdev.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=13&action=edit
That's all.
Regarding your question about the mobile appearance: this is done in this way because otherwise it will not look good on mobiles.
