We use The Gem theme for many of our websites and on occasion run into issues with plugin installation. This is however usually fixed by editing the PHP limits or editing the HTA access file etc... in this case we have tried everything and the Plugins simply won't install.
We select install all plugins as per usual and it just sits and thinks for a bit then does nothing but stay on the intro screen as per screenshot attached.
I am pulling my hair out here and losing valuable hours! Please advise urgently!!
Thanks Michael. We found the issue. It was that the hosting was reverting the HTA Access file back to default values after we added the Max input Vars code. We have now fixed it with the host. Thank you for your time.

Hi,
Start by setting the correct setting here.
https://www.resolutionsaud.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=thegem-dashboard-system-status
Secondly I have disabled optimization plugins.
Provide ftp access as well, if that doesn't solve the problem.
