    Hello support team!

Can you explain step by step how to carry out the "self-hosted fonts (not adobe)" function to avoid Google fonts (Googleapis).

Let's make an example with the following requirements:
    - I use the Theme TheGem-WPBakery
    - For example, I would like to use the "Roboto" font on the page. The "Roboto" font is loaded via Googleapis by default. However, this font should be loaded locally and not via Googleapis and not via AdobeFonts.
    - What steps are necessary so that the "Roboto" font is embedded via "self-hosted fonts"?
    - If I upload a font (e.g. Roboto.ttf) via "self-hosted fonts" , do I have to assign the same file name as the original from Googleapis or should I choose a different name for the local font?
    - Do I also have to note the setting of the plugin WPBakery -> Because the first TAB of the WPBakery configuration has the option of selecting the following: "Activate local Google Fonts". What needs to be considered here?

Is it possible, that someone can show the complete way how to replace a Google font with a local font?

I would be very happy because I can't make it alone!

    Thank You very much

    Hi Claudio,

Yes, you are right: for this purpose you need to use Self-Hosted Fonts feature in TheGem:

Here you can upload your local font files:

For webfonts it is important to upload the font file in WOFF format here

You can choose any name you wish and type it in "Font Name". After saving, this font name will be available throughout your Theme Options in typography settings:

So you can set your website typography using the uploaded fonts.
