    Hello,

While working on templates, I was struggling with two columns supposed to contain each 1 Text-Element.

Problem_1 : I finally managed to re-import a new «Title»-Element into the left column, but it seems I can’t simply DRAG N’ DROP the existing elements into the intended places (Containers)*. Why ? / Is it a normal restriction of ELEMENTOR’s UI ? / Is there any trick ? How can I please fix it ?

    * : ( the left Client_2-Element into the 75%-width-column on the left / the right Client_2-Element into the 25%-column on the right )

Problem_2 : Please forget this issue : solved.

Problem_3 : (see .55.2.png) … I'd like to set the horizontal padding of the container, so it matches to the horizontal padding of the column below :
How do I access the padding ?

    Problem_4 : I have a «Container»-tool, but no «Innersection-tool», and I don't see how you guys created this column (column-icon vs. container-icon).
    4a) How do I access the «column-tool»?
    4b) How do I access the «innersection-tool»?
    4c) Is the «innersection-tool» a former tool replaced by the «container-tool» ?

    Hi Gerald,

    sorry for the delay.

Problem 1: this won't work, because you have these elements in "section/column" layout structure and you are trying to drag'n'drop it to conatiner, Elementor does not allow it. You need to convert the first section (which is section/column with elements inside) to containers, after that you will be able to move the elements. Simply select this section 8787364725.png

and in the "layout" tab you will have a button "convert to container".

Alternatively you can copy the elements you need (right-click and select "Copy") and after that paste these elements in container, I suppose this work also.

Problem 3: sorry, not quite sure which container and which column exactly do you mean? What exactly would you like to achieve?

Also, just a note: if you feel yourself more comfortable by using section/column layout instead of containers, you can switch the containers off in the Elementor's settings (however, in this case, all the content you have already created with containers will not be visible anymore - I don't know if you have already created a lot of container based content).

Problem 4: "Containers" have been introduced in recent Elementor's versions, they are based on flex and they work in another way. In containers there are no more sections, inner sections, columns or inner columens, there are only containers which you can insert in each other. It is a little bit different approach to layouting. However, as I said in my previous comment, you can always convert the existing sections into containers so that you can see how it is organized using containers (to achieve the same look as made with sections/columns, but using containers).

If you wish, I can clone this page and convert it to conatiners for you so that you can see how the structure looks like based on containers.
