If you wish to switch your website to RTL, you just need to change the language of your website to the respective RTL language you wish to use. You can change the language in the WordPress general settings. TheGem supports RTL so actually no further plugins are needed.

Another option would be to use the Polylang plugin which is also developed to provide multiple languages: https://wordpress.org/plugins/polylang/
