Mobile nav - Global section

I have created a new global section to use as the mobile menu. However, the only way it activates is by sliding from the left as a container above everything else. How I would like it to work is to make it 'dropdown' from the menu button, as it works right now. I cannot find the setting for this.

    Hi,

in case of creating mobile navigation via the global section there is no option to "dropdown" such section in an easy way (because of the specificity of the templates). It can be achieved using the custom code, but this customization is not a simple one. Kindly let me know if you would be interested in such customization, thanks.

    Hi Oliver,

In the end decided to go with the standard functionality and use a specific mobile menu, that was already better. However I did notice a bug when using Global sections. When the menu is long enough you can't actually scroll all the way to the bottom on mobile views. Also, the scroll bar is visible which is just bad design.

Hi, thank you for letting me know. May I ask you on which mobile device you are testing? Can you attach a screenshot showing this scrollbar? Thanks.

See attached. The scrollbar is clearly visible, also like I said the bottom section is cut off, it is only visible when scrolling down and keeping your finger on the screen. The second you let go, that bottom part is out of view again.

    Hi,

    1. This sort of a scrollbar is a default scrollbar added on iOS devices in case the element won't fit in the viewport. The same happens with any page you are viewing - if the page's content won't fit in the viewport and you scroll down, you see this kind of a scrollbar
    2. As I can see, you have replaced the mobile nav with the built-in version. May I switch to the template again to recheck the behavior? If yes: what is the title of the global section you wish to use for the mobile nav?
