I prefer to use WPBakery over Elementor for the Lawyer theme on the website.
I cannot install the WPBakery demo import. It always fails with the error that the Elementor plugin is not activated.
The problem is that I have installed the Elementor plugin and activated the Elementor demo. It's just not working right and I am more familiar with WPBakery.
I suppose you have installed the Elementor's version of TheGem theme. TheGem comes in two packages:
TheGem Elementor
TheGem WPBakery
You need to download "All files and documentation" from your account, unzip the downloaded zip file and here you will find two installable theme files:
TheGem_Elementor.zip
TheGem_WPBakery.zip
You just need to install the second one as your theme (please deactivate and remove the theme and theme plugins you have installed previously prior to installing).
I have a follow-on issue. I mistakenly deleted the primary menu and is trying to recreate it. Although I have to done the menu, it doesn't appear on the site.
while editing your website header template, please select the "Menu" content element and here please specify the source for your menu. Kindly check this help articles:

Hi Oliver,
I have tried this and watched the videos. It doesn't work. I created a new menu called Main and selected it but it doesn't show. Can you help further?
Chris
Hi,
By editing your header template https://newsite.zirrithlaw.com/wp-admin/post.php?vc_action=vc_inline&post_id=1379&post_type=thegem_templates I can see that you have already selected the "Top primary menu" as your menu source and it is being displayed. Do you need any further assistance with this? Thanks.
