On a very basic level, I am attempting to have 2 areas of the website that will propagate events that our organization will be having through out the year. Where the most relevant events are showing at the top, and old events archive.
Within a current GEM Pre-built Template called "Shop Online Courses" this idea is represented. And I am using that theme template for the this website. Attached you will see where I need the events to propagate in a traditional way where viewers can see them in chronological order of relevance.
I have worked with the ACF Plugin quite a bit to be dangerous. But in this instance, I am completely stuck. I have created a Field Group called "Event information" and feel that I have done the correct steps to get this started, but have find my self frustrated and stuck on the sorting portion of each area. (Homepage & Events Page).
I have also used Grok to help with guiding me through the process, but it is suggesting a lot of code to implemented. My hope is that from the theme template that you all have built, that you have a solution already in mind.
