For test I have import Mega Menu 014 in my stage pageI

I did not change any settings.

How it looks in frontend you can see in template-screen.pdf, template-mobile.pdf
Mobile view is not nice because it is very long to scroll.

My current menu is made in Design --> Menu
Setting from "Shop [Fahrzeug]" Menu point was
Mega Menu Source "Built-In Settings", Style 1 with 3 columns
Below I had sometime 2 steps in the menu points as you can see in old-menu.pdf

When I now change the Built-In Setting to Template and select my test Mega Menu template but do not  delete the menu points after I get this view in Screen and Mobile.
My Screen Menu is from Template, my Mobile menu view is like I had it before with the menu points open/close to see more options.

NOW the QUESTION

Is this usage normal and intended?
For me, it would have exactly the effect I want right now, but I'm not sure if this will create a conflict in the future.
