When I change the "Posts page" under Reading Settings, it seems to overwrite the styles with the default blog list style (page sidebar, top area, etc.)
The problem i'm having is with the Reading Settings (under Settings). When I set the Posts Page to the correct Blog Page, it messes up the styled blog page I've created. However, if i leave the Posts page as just ----Select----, the page seems fine.
What I want my blog to look like is CORRECT BLOG STYLE.png

If you set Posts page applys internal wp styles. (it does not depend on the theme)
pls. note /blog/ is also internal permalink with default settings.
The most simply way is to set any page with news and blog shortcode to the menu.
