I can grant you access to a test site on a server. How can I send you a private message with the link + credentials ?

I have some progress on the matter.

Source of the problem is coming from the `Wordpress Page Widgets` plugin. disabling this plug-in solves the problem when trying to update any existing taxonomy. Scalia theme requires this plug-in and It's always active as long as the current theme is indeed scalia.
The current plug-in version is (2.7) there is a much newer version of the plug-in (3.2) but it's not compatible with the current wordpress version (4.6.1) that your theme does support. Maybe the update to the new plug-in version will fix this bug, I don't know but it could create other bugs since it's not compatible with the 4.6.1 Wordpress version. I didn't test this option.

It's up to you to check, test and fix this bug.
Please release a theme update that fixes this issue ASAP!

    Thank.
