My goal is to do a section with a filter bar and display content in a list below.

I think it can't work with portfolio items because you won't have a button to submit.

My problem with this plugin is that i must go inside the plugin structure because the submit button send me to another page and, if i'm able to do this, i'm not sure it would display dynamically the content.

Sure! I'm not asking you to help me on third part plugin.

I was just wondering if you have any solution to filter solution inside your theme?
